Missing Malaysian Singer, YouTuber Found Dead

KLANG: The body of 23-year-old singer and YouTuber Muhammad Nidza Afham was discovered under a bridge in Klang on Wednesday, a day after he was reportedly missing. His last known location had been traced to the bridge, where authorities ultimately found his remains.

Selangor police Chief Commissioner Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed the recovery and stated that the victim’s family has been informed. Earlier, that day, South Klang OCPD Assistant Commissioner Cha Hoong Fong reported that Muhammad Nidza was last seen leaving a house in Jalan Kerongsang 4, Bandar Puteri, on August 13.

His friend had tracked his last location to the bridge, where a family member found his wallet and other belongings. Muhammad Nidza gained fame for his music, notably his single “Ternyata Bukan Aku” and covers on social media, including a YouTube cover of “Rindu Setengah Mati,” which has nearly seven million views. He also appeared in the third season of the Malaysian television show I Can See Your Voice.

Living in Shah Alam, Muhammad Nidza was a sports management student at Universiti Kuala Lumpur and worked with his older brother while maintaining an active presence in the music industry. Social media users expressed their condolences and called for justice. As investigations continue, the tragic loss of a young talent has left a mark on the Malaysian community.
