ISLAMABAD: Combine the flavours of green tea, mango, fresh mint, lime, and ice to create a refreshing iced tea—perfect for a cool summer drink at any time of day.
Ingredients:
- 1 Mango, Chopped
- 100g Granulated Sugar
- 4 tsp green Tea Leaves
- Small Bunch of Fresh Mint
- 1 Lime, Sliced
- Ice
Method:
In a saucepan, combine half the mango with the sugar and 100ml of water.
Cook for 8-10 minutes, then strain through a sieve and allow the liquid to cool.
Steep the green tea leaves in 500ml of boiling water in a large heatproof jug for 5 minutes.
Strain the tea into a large glass jug, add 300ml of cold water, and let it cool completely before placing it in the fridge to chill.
Once the tea is cold, mix in the mango syrup, remaining chopped mango, fresh mint, and lime slices.
Pour ice in glass, stir gently, and serve.
