RAWALPINDI: Three persons including a minor were gunned down in the vicinity of Chontra police station, here on Monday.
The unknown assailants opened fire on a family traveling in a vehicle. The attack resulted in three fatalities, including the tragic loss of an eight-year-old girl named Anabiya, Muhammad Atif, and Younus.
Two others sustained injuries. Preliminary investigations suggest a possible motive rooted in personal enmity.
The assailants fled the scene, prompting law enforcement to initiate a thorough investigation. Rawalpindi CPO Khalid Hamdani has taken notice of the incident, demanding a detailed report from Chontra police.
