ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) has entrusted Community Welfare Attaches (CWAs) stationed abroad with the strategic task of enhancing job opportunities for Pakistanis in the international market.

As per an official source, the Government of Pakistan currently has 21 CWAs posted abroad, tasked with evaluating and improving the progress of identifying and exploring targeted employment prospects for Pakistani nationals through engagements with foreign employers.

The primary objective of this initiative is to formulate, sign, and execute Letters of Intent (LOIs) and agreements with foreign companies, critical in amplifying the export of Pakistani manpower.

Close collaboration between CWAs and the Ministry of Overseas Pakistani and Human Resource Development is emphasized to share information regarding employment demands abroad and the necessary skills required. This collaboration facilitates the design of training programs tailored to meet the skills demanded by foreign companies, ensuring Pakistani workers are well-equipped and aligned with global standards.

This step not only boosts employment opportunities for Pakistanis abroad but also contributes to the economic growth of the nation.

Moreover, CWAs play a vital role in addressing the needs and resolving issues faced by overseas Pakistanis during their stay abroad, ensuring their well-being and seamless integration into their host countries.

The Ministry of Overseas Pakistani and Human Resource Development reaffirms its commitment to spearheading initiatives that strengthen global employment prospects for Pakistanis. This strategic approach signifies a significant step towards realizing this vision, demonstrating the Ministry’s dedication to the welfare and prosperity of overseas Pakistanis.
