Minister For Exchange Of Teachers, Students Between Pakistan And Uzbekistan

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Education Rana Tanvir Hussain has said that the future of Pakistan lies in the vocational training of the youth.

He said this while talking to Uzbekistan Ambassador Aybek Arif Usmanov, who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Rana Tanvir said that both Pakistan and Uzbekistan, through the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission, should exchange teachers and students for learning from each other’s expertise.

The education minister said that Pakistan should enhance its ties with Uzbekistan to further enhance cooperation with Uzbekistan and as well as Central Asian states.

Rana Tanvir discussed the exchange of expertise and knowledge regarding Vocational and Technical Training. He said that the two countries should benefit from the experience of each other.

Rana Tanvir welcomed the exchange of students to further mutual cooperation, especially for skilled vocational training. He said that there was significant potential for collaboration between the two countries. The ambassador of Uzbekistan invited Rana Tanvir to the world conference on Early Childhood Care and Education. He informed the education minister that Uzbekistan would host the second world conference on Early Childhood Care and Education, co-organised with UNESCO. The conference is scheduled to be held from November 14 to November 16 in Uzbekistan.
