ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court’s (SC) bench hearing the petitions against civilians’ trials in country’s military courts dissolved for the second time on its third hearing today (Monday) after the government raised objections over Justice Mansoor Ali Shah’s inclusion to the bench.

Attorney General Mansoor Awan raised the objection to Justice Mansoor saying the government didn’t want Justice Mansoor part of the bench. Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial, however, didn’t take well the position taken by the government, saying the latter again wants to make the bench controversial.

The court then adjourned the hearing to sit again after reconstitution of the bench.
