Mexico Beat Saudi Arabia
DOHA: Mexico has suffered a painful exit from the FIFA World Cup in Qatar despite beating Saudi Arabia 2-1 in a key match in Group C. Mexico did a lot for a 3rd goal to improve its goal difference as the team faced exit on FIFA fair play rules.
Argentina Vs Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s victory over Argentina in its first match was one of the World Cup’s great upsets, but Messi and his team beat Poland in today’s match. Mexico realized victory was necessary for the team to ensure its entry into the next stage of the FIFA World Cup. The Mexicans required one more score to overtake Poland on goal difference, but it was Saudi Arabia who scored in the final moments of the match, making it 2-1.

Mexico’s Martin scored the first goal in the 47th minute of the match while five minutes later Chavez doubled his team lead. A goal by Lion Messi’s team would have also been enough for Mexico to qualify for the next stage of the FIFA World Cup. However, Salem Al-Dawsari scored a goal against Mexico in the 95th minute of the game. The result was disappointing for Saudi Arabia because they (Saudi Arabia) started the tournament on a high as they won against Argentina.
