ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain with thunderstorm and light snowfall over hills in most parts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining regions.
However, mostly dry weather is likely in most areas of the country, while partly cloudy in upper parts of the South Asian country during the next 12 hours. There is also a slight chance of a thunderstorm in Islamabad and its adjoining areas.
Similarly, snow has also returned in the upper areas of the country particularly in Chitral, Shangla and Dir. On the other hand, Islamabad and Rawalpindi also experience delightful change in weather following yesterday’s rain.
Temperatures of major cities are:
Islamabad 15 degree centigrade, Karachi 26, Lahore 20, Quetta 11, Peshawar 18, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad 12 while Murree four degree centigrade.
