Imtiaz Wani Secretary Information All Parties Hurriyat (Freedom) Conference, on 27 October Indian army entered the Kashmir, which is observed as a black day. As the Indian army occupied Kashmir, then the entire Kashmir has only once voice, “We Want Freedom”. Then Indian Prime Minister Pandat Jawahar Lal Nahru came to Sri Nagar and addressed a large gathering saying, “We have come here on temporary basis, and we will give U your due right”.
This is now 7 decades that that right of ours was never given to us. He promised us and he also wrote a letter to United Nations that whatever decision you will take, that we will accept.
UN has adopted 18 Declarations on Kashmir issue, and those are never acted upon. We demand to the entire world and UN that the people of Kashmir should be given their due right.
Due to this, the current situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir is very tense, all of our senior leadership and workers are all in various jails, like Tehar Jail.
Journalists are held and captive and no one can raise his voice on social media. Khurram Pervez who is human rights activist is also taken captive in Tehar Jail. Anyone who speaks about their rights, he is arrested.
Daily raids are routine and India is moving towards demographic changes. The conditions of those are in jails is very pathetic. Our senior leader Sayed Ali Gilani was in House Arrest who he was martyred.
Similarly Muhammas Ashraf Tehai Saheb was martyred in Jammu jail. Son in Law of (Sayed Ahmed) Gilani Saheb Altaf Ahmad Shah Saheb, was martyred in Tehar Jail. Things are tense out there, daily encounters (killings) are a routine. Youngs are being martyred.
Indian cruelty is growing day by day. Our demand from India is only one that India should give us our rights of freedom.
