Today, on the 27th of October, Kashmiris and all those who stand in solidarity with their cause mark this day as a Black Day. It was on this very day in 1947 that India deployed its troops to Jammu and Kashmir, usurping its territories. Since that fateful moment, the Indian forces have left a trail of death, imprisonment, and the torment of innocent Kashmiris numbering in many thousands. Tragically, women have been subjected to sexual assault and molestation, and the records of heinous crimes continue to mount in the occupied region.

India has pursued a strategy akin to that of Israel, endeavoring to replicate the transformation of the majority population into a minority. Since August 5, 2019, they have embarked on a mission to alter the demographic composition of the region. These actions amount to blatant violations of human rights that demand the attention of the international community.
