STUTTGART: Mercedes-Benz has just revealed new concept electric vehicles better than Tesla cars by traveling to more than 466 miles on a single charge, western media reported on Tuesday.
Any Tesla model can travel 380 miles or less in single charge.
The German automaker’s Concept CLA Class vehicles were unveiled at the IAA Mobility auto show in Munich.
The car comprises of four new models: a sedan, a station wagon and two SUVs. The company did not give a specific date of their production.
Each vehicle will have a range of more than 750 kilometers (466 miles), as compared to Tesla’s (TSLA) Model 3 and Model S which can go just under 375 miles in one charge.

Meanwhile, BMW also revealed its new electric vehicle at the auto show that has a longer range and faster charging.
Big European carmakers such as Volkswagen and Renault are facing tough competition from Chinese rivals. On the other hand, Tesla has also planned to make its factory near Berlin into Europe’s biggest car plant.

BMW’s Vision Neue Klasse car which is at concept stage, uses advanced battery cells that can save over 20% more energy than those previously used by the company.
According to the company charging speed and range are likely to be improved by up to 30% as compared to previous models.
