SRINAGAR: President Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti severely criticized the Narendra Modi government’s installed administration saying that the contractors across the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) are being denied payment despite completing projects.
In a statement on social media platform x, she asked the Lt Governor to intervene in the matter.
She said that contractors across the occupied territory are being denied payment despite completing projects, according to Kashmir Media Service.
Mehbooba Mufti said that despite completing work on many projects, their payments are being withheld under one pretext or another, causing great distress to these families.

She said the situation is more worrisome when Eid ul Fitr too is just around the corner.
