ISLAMABAD: JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has announced a protest against the “behavior of the judiciary,” local media reported on Friday. Speaking to the journalists in Islamabad, Maulana Fazlur Rehman says: “We have decided that there will be a protest against the behavior of the judiciary”. He said, “The PDM leadership appeals to the entire nation … the nation should head out for the country’s capital Islamabad on Monday. A big protest will be staged in front of the Supreme Court.”
The PDM chief said: “There is terrorism and hooliganism being carried out across the country and the court is protecting that terrorism”. “The army chief’s headquarters is attacked, the corps commander’s house is assaulted … the way state defense institutions are being disrespected, is the court for their security or not?” He questioned.
While announcing a set-in in front of the apex court on Monday, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said: “If anyone does any vandalism, then it means miscreants of PTI have entered our ranks and they (miscreants) will be caught on the spot.”
Responding to a question regarding the imposition of Section 144 in the capital, and permission for the protest, he said: “This matter is no longer ours. We had gone far beyond it.”
