RAWALPINDI: International Cricket Council (ICC) Elite Panel Match Referee Andy Pycroft will head a panel of referees for the forthcoming World Test Championship between Pakistan and England, which will be rolled into action from December 1 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
As many as seven umpires from the ICC Elite Panel will perform duty during the test matches, which will be played at Rawalpindi, Multan and Karachi, respectively.
At Pindi Cricket Stadium, Joel Wilson and local man Ahsan Raza will be field umpires, while Marais Erasmus will make all up-stair decisions. Pakistani umpire Asif Yaqoob will perform the duties of the fourth umpire.
At Multan Cricket Stadium, one of the world’s best umpires, Aleem Dar, along Marais Erasmus, will act as a field umpire, while Joel Wilson will be the third umpire. Rashid Riaz will be the fourth umpire.
At Karachi Cricket Stadium, Joel Wilson and Ahsan Raza will be field umpires, while Marais Erasmus and Asif Yaqoob will perform the duties of third and fourth umpires, respectively.
