ISLAMABAD/MULTAN: Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz said on Monday that the coalition government needs time to right the wrongs of the past four years and put the economy back on track.
Maryam Nawaz, while talking to the media, said that Pakistan was developing when Imran Khan came into power but he destroyed Pakistan, and now PM Shehbaz Sharif was working day and night to improve the economy.
She said the government was in an IMF programme for the public interest, and Pakistan will have to accept the conditions of the global lender as the loan tranche has been linked with the hike in prices.

She also said that the PML-N leader said that PTI foreign funding issue was an open and shut case, but still, the nation awaits accountability. It’s unacceptable that Imran commits crimes but roams freely, she added.
Taking about the development projects in South Punjab, Maryam said that all the projects in the region were initiated by Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif. She claimed that her party would emerge victorious in the elections from South Punjab.
