ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President and chief organiser Maryam Nawaz remained active on Twitter to update her followers about the former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan’s arrival in Islamabad to face the Toshakhana case, and the police operation at his residence in Zaman Park Lahore.
While sharing a video, where police officials could be seen recovering “weapons” from Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence, she tweeted, “They were firing bullets at the policemen from inside the Zaman Park, where only a single ‘woman’ was present!”

In another tweet, she said, “Now it is known that since this terrorist Imran was forcibly dragged into politics, the country is suffering from sedition and chaos? The bringers also met their worst end, Imran’s politics is also rolling towards its end in disgrace.”

Commenting on the possible arrest of Khan, she said that, to tell the truth, this is the first time that the Pakistani nation has seen a person with an intense fear of arrest. “Shame that this coward once called himself a political leader. Now that cloak has also come off,” Maryam said.
She said that the politicians are brave, and not afraid of arrest and accountability. Only thieves, bandits, and terrorists fear arrest and accountability. Fear more than the arrest of your abominable deeds! It is a straightforward admission that the cases are true.

While sharing a video of a policeman in Zaman Park, who was seen claiming that fires were shot from inside the Khan’s residence, Maryam said that political leaders and political parties in Pakistan have always struggled and made sacrifices. Calling PTI a political party or calling Imran Khan a political leader will be an insult to the decades-long struggle of political workers.
