ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has alleged that trained terrorists and miscreants from proscribed organizations were residing at Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence in Lahore instead of political workers.
In a tweet on Sunday, Maryam expressed her serious concerns over the recent violent incidents in Zaman Park, Lahore, and stressed the importance of not ignoring them. She said the perpetrators of these violent acts were highly trained terrorists and miscreants.

Furthermore, she accused Imran Khan, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, of supporting banned organizations.
Maryam Nawaz alleged that Imran Khan has a history of supporting such criminals and that some people involved in the recent incidents of violence in Zaman Park were recruited from these proscribed groups.
Emphasizing the state’s crucial role in ensuring its citizens’ safety and security, Maryam stressed that it was essential for the government to take effective and prompt action before it was too late.
Maryam Nawaz calls for action
Maryam Nawaz called for a proactive approach by the state institutions in addressing these issues rather than waiting for them to escalate further.
She wrote that watching the videos closely makes it hard to ignore the truth – these people are NOT political workers.
“They are trained terrorists and miscreants recruited from banned outfits that Imran Khan has always been supportive of. The evidence speaks for itself.”
She appealed that the state must act before it’s too late.
