ISLAMABAD: Funeral prayers for the martyrs of India’s cowardly attack were offered in Bahawalpur.
A cowardly Indian attack was carried out on Subhan Allah Mosque in Bahawalpur that resulted in the martyrdom of peaceful and unarmed civilians, according to sources.
Laid to rest
A large number of the martyrs’ relatives and local residents participated in the funeral prayers and burial, the sources said.
Earlier, the funeral prayers for the martyrs were officially held at Dring Stadium, sources added.
Death toll
The death toll from late-night Indian strikes on civilian sites in Pakistan has risen to 26.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, 46 civilians were also injured in the attack.
