RANCHI: An attack in India’s disturbed Jharkhand state killed four paramilitary and police officials and injured 28 others.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian forces personnel were killed and injured during a cordon and search operation in the state’s Kolhan-Chaibasa area by Maoist guerrillas.

Maoists exploded landmines and opened fire on paramilitary groups and police in Kolhan’s Hucipi district.
In the same region, Indian forces injured several Maoists, including a minor. The minor was arrested in the forest in critical condition.
