Malik Nasrullah Booked for Boycotting of the Anti-Polio Campaign in Northwest Pakistan

PESHAWAR: A complaint against the tribal Malik has been registered for declaring a boycott of the Anti-Polio Campaign in North Waziristan, Police claimed on Saturday.

APP quoted SHO Razmak as saying that the police took action when Malik Nasrullah announced a boycott of Polio drops in the area.

The case has included provisions for threatening government institutions and disturbing public peace, Police added. As per media reports, the announcement of the boycott of the Anti-Polio drive is also a pure violation of Section 144.

APP further reported that hundreds of people were arrested in Razmak for violations of section 144.

According to an FIR registered with the Police, in the offensive, provocative, and hateful speech, the functioning of the state was challenged.
