ISLAMABAD: Malaysian Foreign Minister Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan met with his Pakistani counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, at the Foreign Office in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Upon his arrival, Ishaq Dar welcomed the Malaysian Foreign Minister.
During their meeting, they discussed various areas of bilateral cooperation and preparations for the upcoming visit of Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is set to arrive in Islamabad tonight for a three-day visit.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, deputy ministers, and senior officials.
During the visit, he will engage with Pakistani leadership to discuss a comprehensive agenda aimed at strengthening Pakistan-Malaysia ties across various fields, including trade, connectivity, energy, agriculture, the Halal industry, tourism, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people contacts.
They will also address regional and global developments, providing an opportunity to further enhance relations between the two brotherly countries.
