Makkah Prepares for Ramadan with Robust Health Measures

MAKKAH: The Makkah Health Cluster has announced its readiness for the holy month of Ramadan with robust health measures, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.

The cluster has completed plans for all hospitals in the holy city to provide medical services at the highest level.

Eight hospitals and 43 health facilities have completed preparations to implement the plans in Ramadan. Ajyad Emergency Hospital works round-the-clock, to provide health care to pilgrims. Additionally, three emergency centres are also available on the routes to the Holy Mosque, equipped with the latest technology to deal with emergency cases. The Al-Haram Hospital functions in the northern courtyards of the Grand Mosque.

The Health Cluster has used all capabilities to trained personnel and developing their abilities to provide extreme health care.

Under the plan all centres and hospitals affiliated with the Makkah Health Cluster will be streamlined to provide health services to the victors of the Holy Mosque.

All hospitals in Makkah are ready to deal with stroke cases via the hotline and in connection with the SEHA Virtual Hospital. The medical facilities adhere to global standards to deal with stroke cases and save lives.

King Abdullah Medical City is the main hospital specializing in heart and stroke cases. Cases are referred to it according to the internationally specified time to handle the stroke patients as early as possible.

Meanwhile Al-Noor Specialist, King Abdulaziz, King Faisal, Hira General, Ajyad, and Maternity and Children Hospitals are also ready to deal with all cases through emergency departments equipped to handle emergency cases.
