Mahira Khan Opens up About ‘Hard Work’ for Maula Jatt

KARACHI: The famous Pakistani actress Mahira Khan on Sunday said that she had worked very hard to speak proper Punjabi in her blockbuster film The Legend of Maula Jatt.

Her statement came during a conversation with renowned playwright and poet Anwar Maqsood at The Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, which organized a session called “An Evening with Mahira Khan”.

The stylish actress and Maqsood engaged in a witty and heartfelt conversation.

The gorgeous actress, dressed in an elegant golden Saari, began her conversation by describing her journey in the showbiz industry.

Mahira said that she tried very hard to speak good Punjabi to be able for his role in the Legend of Maula Jatt.

Mahira Khan’s love for acting

Mahira said that ever since she was a child, she wanted to be an actress.

However, despite a little resistance from some family members, she became a VJ.

Sharing her great experience of being acted in the movie Bol, the actress said she talked about the scripts, saying these days, the scripts are lengthy and do not have any new substance.

The actress then highlighted the importance of financial independence for women. She said that with financial independence, women could do more than they wanted to do.

Mahira also spoke about her experience working in India with Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan. She said that she had always dreamt of working with Shahrukh Khan.
