RAWALPINDI: Lt. Uzair Mehmood Malik Shaheed, a 24-year-old officer from Attock, was laid to rest with full military honors after sacrificing his life in a fierce exchange of fire with militants in Tirah Valley.
His funeral, held in his native area, was attended by senior Pakistan Army officers, soldiers, families of other martyrs, and local elders.
The large turnout at his funeral reflected the deep respect and admiration for his bravery and the ultimate sacrifice he made for his country.
