ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has claimed that its legal team was denied permission to meet party chief and former prime minister Imran Khan ahead of the hearing of the Al-Qadir Trust case against him by an accountability court.
PTI leader Babar Awan, also a member of Khan’s legal team, said: “We were barred from meeting our client. It is against the Constitution as no one is allowed to meet the PTI leader.”
Rangers detained the former prime minister on Tuesday after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) issued his arrest warrant in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
