LCWU Now Ranked by Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023

ISLAMABAD In a first, Pakistan’s Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) is in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023.

LCWU is among total 29 Universities of Pakistan and 16 universities from Punjab that have been ranked in this year’s ranking. In addition, LCWU was ranked in 21 different subject categories in The World University Rankings 2023.

Furthermore, it is a great pride for LCWU to be ranked in top 1,000 universities of the world in 10 subject categories including architecture, geography, sports sciences, art, performing art and design, politics and international studies, communication and media studies, psychology, history, philosophy & theology, sociology and education.

In a statement, Prof Dr Bushra Mirza, Vice Chancellor of Lahore College for Women University said, “It is a great achievement for all of us to be ranked for the first time in the world rankings of universities this year. She further added that Lahore College for Women University has proudly participated in 21 different categories. 

Describing her appreciation for her team, she said, “This is a very good news and it provides us with a motivation that if we will work together with the same passion, we will be able to see our university among the world’s top universities. I congratulate all the faculty and staff of LCWU on this achievement, this is all because of your hard work and professionalism.”
