LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to establish Khatamun Nabiyeen (PBUH) University in the provincial capital Lahore.
University to operate under Auqaf Department
Khatamun Nabiyeen (PBUH) University will be set up in Mian Mir under the Quran Institute, Auqaf Department. The Committee on Legislative Business (SCCLB) approved the Khatamun Nabiyeen (PBUH) University Bill. Chairman of the Committee, Raja Basharat, instructed the Law Department to provide further remarks on the proposal of Khatamun Nabiyeen University. He said that the Punjab administration had taken many initiatives towards the belief of Khatm-e-Nabuwat in accordance with the aspiration of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and on the orders of Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Elahi. He added that Khatamun Nabiyeen University is yet another step toward ‘Riast-e-Madinah.’
