ISLAMABAD: Lahore Qalandars’ all-rounder Liam Dawson has been ruled out of the remainder of Pakistan Super League-8 (PSL-8) after suffering an ankle injury during Sunday’s contest against Karachi Kings at the National Bank Cricket Arena.
The news of his unavailability has been confirmed by theQalandars management. The team would look for a replacement for the right-handed batter after the setback.
While representing Lahore Qalandars against Kings, Dawson bagged a wicket and scored only a run as Qalandars suffered a defeat by 67 runs.

Dawson joins the players ruled out ofPSL-8 due to injuries. The list includes Multan Sultans’ pacers Shahnawaz and Wayne Parnell and Karachi Kings’ Mir Hamza.
The Karachi Kings management confirmed Monday that KK’s Muhammad Amir has been ruled out the next game against MS on February 2022.
Dahani had ruled out of the PSL tournament after suffering a finger injury in the very first game of the league. Hamza suffered a finger injury in KK’s inaugural match against Peshawar Zalmi. Pacer Muhammad Ilyas replaced Dahani, and fast bowler Akif Javed replaced Mir Hamza. Carlos Braithwaite has replaced Wayne Parnell in the MS squad.
