Bishkek: Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov has said that he will ensure a transparent information policy in the country. Local media reported that the President expressed these remarks during a meeting with media executives.
The talks between the president and media executives lasted over two hours. Several aspects of issues important for the country, society and for the media sphere were discussed. President Sadyr Japarov said that the country’s leadership is ready to continue a positive dialogue with media representatives to ensure an open information policy in Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyzstan’s President Vows to Ensure Transparent Media Policy
Earlier, Kyrgyzstan’s President congratulated women of Kyrgyzstan on World Women’s Day, local media reported on Friday.
In a statement, Kyrgyzstan’s President said that this is a holiday of a symbol of admiration for the woman-mother and keeper of the family hearth. He said that from time immemorial, their people have treated women with awe, reflecting special care and love, guarding and protecting them.
