BISHKEK: Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov has congratulated women of Kyrgyzstan on World Women’s Day, local media reported on Friday.
In a statement, Kyrgyzstan’s President said that this is a holiday of a symbol of admiration for the woman-mother and keeper of the family hearth. He said that from time immemorial, their people have treated women with awe, reflecting special care and love, guarding and protecting them.
He said that women in his country make an invaluable contribution to the development of the nation, taking part in public administration, and implementing large projects. He said that it is must to strongly support and develop participation of women in all sectors including business, politics, and science.
He added that throughout their nation’s history, women have proved the ability to bridge policy gaps, and promote a consultative and collaborative strategy to policy making. He said that he firmly believed that women’s initiatives, and suggestions will inspire them all and make a great contribution to moving their country forward.
