ISSYK-KUL: Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov has participated in the inauguration of the newly refurbished State Committee for National Security (SCNS) building in the Issyk-Kul region, reported by the head of state’s press service.
While acknowledging the effective execution of tasks by the regional SCNS departments, President Japarov said that the state’s responsibility extends beyond relying solely on security forces. He highlighted the need to create optimal conditions for these forces to fulfill their duties accurately, considering security agencies as reliable support in safeguarding against internal and external threats.
During his address, President Japarov noted that the Issyk-Kul Department’s building, constructed in 1976, had not undergone repairs for 48 years. In a bid to enhance the material and technical infrastructure of the SCNS department and provide conducive working conditions for its personnel, the 2,000-square-meter building underwent a comprehensive renovation, with an additional 544 square meters constructed. Moreover, a 517-square-meter sports hall was refurbished.
President Japarov underscored the crucial role of law enforcement agencies in fortifying security and upholding the rule of law across all facets of government.
He said that the effectiveness of these agencies directly influences the overall strengthening of security and legal compliance in the country.
