GAZA: The government of Kyrgyzstan has said that it had delivered humanitarian help to the people of Palestine on behalf of people of Kyrgyzstan, local media reported on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Central Asian country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations said that it had provided humanitarian aid to Palestine.
Earlier, Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Emergency Situations Boobek Azhikeyev held telephonic talks with the Palestinian Civil Defense Directorate Alabed Ibrahim Abdul Salam Khalil and discussed the urgent need to provide humanitarian help to the affected people in Gaza.
The Palestinian official expressed gratitude and said that there is a shortage of water, food and medicine in the refugee camp.
Kyrgyzstan Delivers Humanitarian Aid for Palestinians
In December, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyzstan also provided humanitarian aid to people of Palestine. As per media reports, essential goods and food items were purchased in Russia. It added that the humanitarian cargo was delivered to the people of Palestine by plane of the Russia.
A special flight of the Russia landed at the Egyptian airport with 5.5 tons of humanitarian help from Kyrgyzstan, which included bottled water, food, bedding and shoes for Gazans. Following unloading, the humanitarian help was transferred to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, which sent it to war hit people in the Gaza Strip.
