BISHKEK: Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov on Friday received in Bishkek the imam and khatib of the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Badir, who is visiting the nation, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radhi, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The SPA reported at the beginning of the meeting, President Japarov has welcomed Sheikh Salah Al-Badir and lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) efforts to serve Islam and Muslims worldwide.
For his part, the imam of the Prophet’s Mosque has expressed his thanks and appreciation to the president for the warm and generous hospitality he received, appreciating the depth of ties between the two nations in various sectors.
