Kyrgyz President’s Tribute
“We spent the first 30 years of our independence learning through hard-fought lessons, often amid adversities. For the next 30 years, let’s channel our energies towards advancing our nation. And for those who may seek to obstruct our path, let it serve as a reminder: This is not a game of cards! This is your life and mine!” he wrote.
Drawing inspiration from Lee Kuan Yew’s famous words, the President reiterated, “Whoever governs Singapore must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards! This is your life and mine! I’ve spent a whole lifetime building this, and as long as I’m in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.”
The tribute reflects the enduring influence of Lee Kuan Yew’s vision and leadership, resonating with leaders worldwide who seek to draw lessons from Singapore’s remarkable journey of progress and development.
