RIYADH: Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday affirmed that indescribable crimes are being committed against innocent Palestinian people in Gaza while we are convening at the moment.
During his address at the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit in Riyadh, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince drew attention to the unjust collective punishment imposed by the Israeli occupation, emphasizing a clear display of double standards that contradicts international resolutions and humanitarian principles.
The Kuwaiti Crown Prince expressed deep concern over the gravity of the situation in Gaza and urged the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to immediately intervene to halt the bloodshed and ensure international protection for the Palestinian people.
Commending the UN General Assembly’s resolution calling for a humanitarian ceasefire, the Crown Prince underscored its significance in reflecting the severity of the crisis unfolding in Gaza. He reiterated Kuwait’s commitment to a sustainable peace in the region, emphasizing the need for a final and just solution to the Palestinian cause in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international references. “The State of Kuwait is all for a sustainable peace in the region, starting with a final and just solution for the Palestinian cause according to the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international references,” he said.

The Crown Prince affirmed that the Palestinian cause remains a top priority in Kuwait’s foreign policy. Praising the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in convening the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince acknowledged the significance of bringing together the Arab and Islamic worlds to address the tragic conditions faced by the people in occupied Palestine as a result of the violations committed by the Israeli occupation authorities against unarmed civilians.
