KUWAIT CITY: In a powerful statement, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, has condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression against the innocent Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Speaking during the opening of the second session of the 17th legislative term of the National Assembly, the Crown Prince expressed his deep concern over the escalating Israeli violence and called for an immediate ceasefire.
“The leadership, people, national assembly, and government of the State of Kuwait are following closely the bloody events taking place in the Palestinian territories, especially the Gaza Strip, denouncing the attacks of the brutal Israeli aggression,” the Crown Prince said, emphasizing Kuwait’s unwavering stance on the Palestinian issue.
Kuwait Affirms Position Towards Palestinian Issue
“We affirm Kuwait’s firm position towards the Palestinian issue and demand an immediate ceasefire and allowing the entry of humanitarian and relief aid,” he stated, underlining the urgent need for humanitarian assistance to alleviate the suffering of the people affected by the conflict.
The Crown Prince also extended Kuwait’s support to all international efforts aimed at achieving “a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue in accordance with international legitimacy.” His statement reflects the nation’s commitment to promoting peace, stability, and justice in the region.
