Pakistan urges India to create favourable environment for dialogue
She urged India to create a favourable environment to facilitate dialogue between the two countries on all disputes, including the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
Furthermore, Baloch rejected any suggestion linking Islamabad to terrorism and emphasized that recent Indian comments in this regard are baseless.
She added that Pakistan remains committed to regional cooperation, and it will play a role in strengthening and ensuring the success of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). Baloch clarified that any negative statements or developments could not deter Pakistan from playing its part in the organization, of which it is an equal member.
The FO spokesperson provided an update on the evacuation of stranded Pakistanis from Sudan, saying that 847 Pakistanis have been evacuated from Khartoum to Port Sudan.
Some of them have already been transported to Jeddah, while others are being moved to Jeddah on ferries operated by the Saudi government. Baloch expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for facilitating the process and hosting Pakistani nationals until their repatriation to Pakistan.
The FO spokesperson’s statement reinforces Pakistan’s stance on India’s alleged involvement in terrorism in the country and highlights Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and cooperation.
