RIYADH: Saudi officials have said that the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center would provide humanitarian aid worth $100 million to the people of Sudan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, a charity drive will be organized via “ Sahem” platform to collect funds as per the directives of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Head of KSrelief Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah told the media that the help provided is a result of the Kingdom’s keenness to stand by the people of Sudan and mitigate the effects of the crisis in their nation.
Relief, humanitarian and medical assistance will be given to the displaced people of Sudan as part of the measure which comes as an extension of the humanitarian role of KSA in standing with the needy, Al-Rabeeah added.
The UN’s humanitarian official, Martin Griffiths also arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on Sunday for truce talks between Sudan’s warring parties.
