KSrelief Team Arrives in Egypt to Discuss Mechanism for Delivering Aid to Gaza

CAIRO: A specialized team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has arrived in Egypt to provide relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.

According to the SPA the team arrived in Cairo to implement the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to start a fundraising campaign through the ‘Sahem’ platform of the KSrelief for the people in the Gaza.

The team soon after its arrival met with the Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Nugali. During the meeting, they discussed ways to facilitate and accelerate mechanisms and procedures for transporting and shelter materials, food baskets, and medical equipment to those affected in the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing as early as possible.
