RIYADH: Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, the general supervisor of the Saudi aid agency KSrelief has met with Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini in Egypt, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

The meeting discussed the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and explored ways to provide assistance to the displaced people in the area.
During the meeting in the Egyptian city of Al-Arish Lazzarini lauded Saudi Arabia’s support, particularly through KSrelief, in helping to end the suffering of the Palestinian people during the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
He also conveyed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s assistance to UNRWA, which has greatly helped in fulfilling its responsibilities towards affected people in the Gaza Strip.
