NEW YORK: Saudi Aid agency, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), and UK-based Save the Children International, an international non-governmental organisation, have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Supervisor-General of KSrelief, and Inger Ashing, CEO of Save the Children International, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
It aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of humanitarian aid, relief efforts, and volunteer work. The partnership also includes collaboration in research, capacity building, and joint planning for international humanitarian events.
Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, on the occasion, also held a meeting with Save the Children International CEO Inger Ashing, where the two discussed ongoing humanitarian and relief projects focused on supporting children worldwide and providing them with essential aid.
Ashing lauded KSrelief’s professional work and noble mission in assisting people in need around the world.
