RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is carrying out its implementation of water supply and environmental sanitation projects in several districts of Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.
KSrelief Provides 8 Million Liters of Water to Yemen
These projects were carried out in Harad, Midi, Abs in Hajjah, Hayran, and Al-Azhor camp in the Razih district of Saada. Between August 2 and 8, over 8 million liters of water was supplied, 7.16 million liters of clean water, and 781,000 of water for the purpose of domestic use, the Saudi Press Agency stated.
In Saada governorate, more than 70,000 liters of clean water and 70,000 litres of water for the purpose of domestic use were pumped, benefiting more than 30,100 people. As per Arab media reports, 50 work shifts were also dedicated to waste removal from the camps of refugees.

Similarly, KSrelief inked two agreements with the UN Children’s Fund to provide hygiene services, water, and food support to Syrian people.
The deals, inked in Riyadh, will see aid worth SR13,125,000 distributed to children affected by the quake in Syria that occurred in February and people at risk in Syria.
