AMMAN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has conducted the 30th training course for Syrian refugees in Jordan’s Al-Zaatari refugee camp, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
The course, a part of the center’s training and educational programs for Syrian refugees, included teaching vocational and handicraft skills such as sewing, drawing, embroidery and culinary arts. Additionally, classes for students from the first grade to high school, learning the Holy Quran, Islamic ethics, literacy classes, and the English language were also held.
A total of 314 male and female students benefited from these courses. The objective is to develop Syrian refugees’ scientific and life skills, nurture their talents to manage the exceptional circumstances of the refugee environment, and enable them to have a decent life that allows families to be self-reliant in meeting their basic requirements.
The program is part of the relief programs provided by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to improve the living conditions of Syrian refugees in the camp.
