KSrelief Launches Vital Projects in Sudan

PORT SUDAN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated different projects in the health, water, and environmental sanitation sectors in Sudan, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.

According to the SPA, Saudi Ambassador to Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Jafar, several Sudanese officials, and a team from the Centre attended the inauguration of the projects.

Under the projects medical equipment for emergency, intensive care, and operation departments will be provided to several hospitals across seven states in Sudan.

In the water and environmental sanitation area, the truck terminal for water desalination in Port Sudan was rehabilitated.

Moreover, KSrelief-supported projects involve setting up of a new therapeutic oxygen station at the Accident Teaching Hospital capable of producing 30 meters per hour.

the initiative aims to meet the requirements of the city and the state in various localities, along with the necessary and urgent maintenance of the oxygen station at Othman Digna Hospital.

These measures are part of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom, represented by the KSrelief, to the Sudanese people to enhance their living conditions during the current humanitarian crisis they are facing.
