DAR ES SALAAM: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the volunteer Program for Pediatric Open-Heart Surgeries in Dar es Salaam city of Tanzania, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.

According to the SPA, the program is being run from September 4 to 15 with the participation of twenty-five female and male volunteers. The KSrelief volunteer medical team has examined as many as 35 people so far in order to identify cases that need open-heart surgeries, the SPA reported.
The SPA further reported that the initiative is an extension of the voluntary medical projects being provided by Saudi Arabia via its humanitarian organization, KSrelief, to people and families with limited income in many nations.
