CAIRO: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed an agreement with the World Health Organization (WHO) to support their efforts in the Gaza Strip, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Thursday.
According to the SPA the agreement was signed by the Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of KSrelief, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, and WHO Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mandhari.

The agreement covers providing life-saving medicines and medical supplies, enhancing primary and secondary health care programs, supporting urgent life-saving interventions, treating malnutrition in children, mothers, and the elderly, and providing mental health support. The agreement is worth SAR 37.5 million.
The deal is part of the humanitarian and relief projects, Saudi Arabia provides through KSrelief in cooperation with international humanitarian agencies to provide relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. It also confirms the Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting other countries during times of crisis.
