KSrelief Initiates Ramadan Food Project in Guinea

CONAKRY: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated the Etaam food basket project in Conakry, Guinea, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

The project was launched with the presence of the Saudi Ambassador, Dr. Fahad bin Eid Al-Rashidi, the Minister of Religious Affairs-designate, Sheikh Ibrahim Osman Bah, Deputy Mayor of Dixinn Municipality in Conakry, and the President of the Guinean Red Cross.

Representatives from different international and local organizations, along with a (KSrelief) team, also attended the event.

Under the project 6,270 food baskets containing essential items will be distributed to benefit the most needy families during the month of Ramadan.

Ambassador Al-Rashidi on occasion said the distance is part of the relief and humanitarian efforts conducted by Saudi Arabia through (KSrelief) across affected countries worldwide. He stressed the Saudi leadership’s commitment to supporting the needy and providing assistance.

Minister Sheikh Ibrahim Osman Bah thanked for the support provided by Saudi Arabia in various crucial fields.

He conveyed the President’s greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince, lauding (KSrelief)’s humanitarian efforts, especially in enhancing food security during Ramadan.

This project is a part of Saudi Arabia’s relief and humanitarian programs, through (KSrelief), focused at assisting nations in need and ensuring food security.
