KSrelief Distributes Food to Needy Communities Worldwide

RIYADH:  Saudi Arabia’s aid agency, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), has provided food assistance to thousands of people across the world, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

In Yemen’s Al-Dhalea and Ash-Shuayb districts, the KSrelief distributed 751 food baskets to needy families, benefitting 5,257 individuals.

In Pakistan, the KSrelief distributed 300 food baskets in the Upper Dir District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, benefiting 2,100 individuals from the most vulnerable and needy groups in the areas, affected by the floods, as part of its Ramadan food basket project, Etaam.

The KSrelief also distributed 300 food baskets in Podgorica, Montenegro, benefiting 1,500 individuals from the neediest groups, under “Etaam” Ramadan food project.

The initiative aims to distribute 8,700 food baskets to the neediest groups during the holy month of Ramadan.

In Ethiopia, the KSrelief distributed 1,645 food baskets benefiting 3,168 individuals from 528 families. The assistance is part of the “Etaam” Ramadan food distribution project in Ethiopia.

The Saudi aid agency also distributed 582 food baskets to the neediest groups in Jigawa State, Nigeria, benefiting 3,168 individuals, under “Etaam” project.

The assistance comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to help many needy and affected nations during the holy month of Ramadan.
