KSrelief Distributes Around 1,289 Shopping Vouchers to Syrian Refugees in Lebanon

Beirut: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed about 1,289 shopping vouchers to Syrian refugees and host community members in Tripoli, Lebanon and the Arsal and Ash-Shouf areas, as part of the 2nd phase of Winter Clothes Distribution Project for year 2023, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday. According to the SPA, the vouchers permit refugees and other vulnerable segments from host communities to buy winter clothing at designated shops. The help comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by Saudi Arabia, represented by the center, for vulnerable and needy segments across the world.

Meanwhile, the KSrelief has distributed about 514 winter bags in Gupis-Yasin district of Gilgit-Baltistan of Pakistan, benefiting around 3,598 members of the most vulnerable families in the flood-hit areas, the SPA reported.

According to the SPA, the distribution is part of the 2nd stage of the project to secure and distribute shelter materials and winter bags in Pakistan for the year 2023-2024. The initiative comes as part of the relief efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) via its humanitarian organization, KSrelief, to support people and nations in need worldwide, the SPA maintained.
