BEIRUT: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 5,900 packages of dates among Syrian refuges in Lebanon and the host community, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.
The assistance given in Wadi Khaled in Akkar Governorate, Miniyeh, in North Lebanon and Naameh in Mount Lebanon Governorate would benefit 29,750 individuals.
The project is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts through KSrelief to enhance the living conditions and providing basic food items for Syrian refugees and the host community in Lebanon.
Earlier on Wednesday the KSrelief distributed 500 food baskets in two provinces of Afghanistan, benefiting 3,000 individuals from 500 families.
